Please read these House Rules carefully before attending events and gatherings at our Shellshock location. In addition to these house rules, Silo Events, as a member organization of NABV, also adheres to the licensing policy, safety policy, and household regulations of NABV. We ask our visitors and players to familiarize themselves with these documents before attending the events at our Shellshock location.

Access to and/or participation in our events depend on your acceptance of and compliance with these House Rules. These House Rules apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or participate in our events.

By accessing or participating in our events, you agree to these house rules. If you disagree with any part of the house rules, you do not have access to our events.

Reservation and Participation in Events

When making a reservation at Shellshock for an open event, private event, or other events, the following points apply:

  • The participant is aware of the risks of airsoft for themselves and their fellow players.
  • By making a reservation, the participant declares that they are mentally and physically capable of handling the efforts associated with the event.
  • The participant realizes that eye injuries and other injuries caused by their own actions are not insured and that Silo Events cannot be held liable.
  • The participant declares by reservation that they are voluntarily participating in the activities of Silo Events.
  • By making a reservation, the participant agrees to participate in the event without any political, religious, or special philosophical intent and will refrain from displaying signs that indicate such preferences.

Liability

The participant declares that they always waive any claim and liability that they could make against Silo Events, the owners of the playing field, or any other participant in the event (regardless of the nature and cause of the injury). By booking, the participant declares that they waive any recourse and will not hold the organization liable in case of damage to themselves, parked vehicles, theft, and/or damage to property.

General House Rules

  • Always follow the instructions of officials or marshalls.
  • Any player who violates the rules below, as well as the NABV licensing policy, safety policy, and house rules, will be asked to leave the event without a refund.
  • Violations will always be reported to NABV.

Safety Zone

  • Replicas must be on safe mode.
  • No dry firing in the safety zone.
  • No magazines in replicas.
  • Not wearing safety glasses is at your own risk.

Drugs and Alcohol

  • Drugs are not allowed.
  • Alcohol is only allowed after the end of the game.

BBs

  • Only biodegradable BBs are allowed.
  • Allowed BBs have a maximum weight of 0.40 grams.

Safety

  • Intentionally shooting at the head and/or face of fellow players is prohibited.
  • Eye protection (full face mask or goggles) is mandatory, mouth protection recommended.
  • Under no circumstances should you remove your eye protection in the playing area, except with the permission and under the supervision of a Marshall.
  • In case of damage to eye protectors, you must replace them immediately.
  • If a player loses their eye protection, they should call BLINDMAN – at this call the game is stopped, and you wait for further instructions.
  • Use ladders and stairs with caution.
  • Do not climb on objects that are not meant for it.
  • Real knives, sharp objects, or weapons are NOT allowed.

Emergencies

  • In case of an emergency, call MAN DOWN – at this call the game is stopped, and you wait for further instructions.

Game Rules

  • Call your hit.
  • Marshalls are always right.
  • Knife kills are silent. Raise your hand and walk away.
  • No bang rule – common sense is appreciated.
  • No blind firing; aim and shoot.
  • Ricochets do not count as hits.
  • Riot shields are allowed.
  • Grenades are a hit within a range of 7 meters (outdoors).
  • Grenades are a hit within the same room (indoors).
  • Smoke grenades are only allowed outdoors.
  • Do not move parts of the field (cones, doors, boards, etc.).
  • Do not move props unless part of the mission.
  • Shooting through gaps and holes the size of a fist is allowed.
  • Use game materials according to instructions.

Output Rules & Class Limits Adhere to applicable output rules and class limits, as shown in the table below:

  • Chronometers are provided by Silo Events.
  • Materials are checked randomly. Players are required to cooperate.
  • Players who make modifications to increase output after their devices have been declared game-eligible must have their devices re-inspected.
  • Players using non-game-eligible devices during the game will be removed from the field.

Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these House Rules at any time.

By continuing to use our services after these revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised House Rules. If you do not agree to the new House Rules, please stop using our services.
